This is the first book I have read by Olivia Rigal, it was a diamond in the rough. The book is thought provoking, what happens when communication is broken? Gave the book 5 stars the storyline is outstanding and the description of the places were mesmerizing and captivating. Jade Cooper young,beautiful and smart. She has been invited to assist on a research project. With her lifelong bff she headed to southeast Asia (stunningly beautiful writing). Arriving she meeting the man known as the Jade Master she is enthralled and enraptured coupled with there close proximity she is burning with desire. But nothing is ever as it seems, is Jade headed for a heart break? Young,fresh and innocent her resolve and her heart will be tested. Oliver aka the Jade Master is the gem expert or the gemologist, when he decides to tread lightly it's up to Jade to change his mind. She is there for research and romance was unexpected, will they succumb to their insatiable desires for one another. As the relationship progresses Jade and Oliver have more obstacles and more secrets. Can a night from the past destroy something beautiful and when Jade flees will Oliver follow or will she land in another man's arms? Good story. The initial detachment of Jade's describes her well. I liked how she evolved. But the ending of the book was so rushed that It killed my buzz. It was meh... The story deserved better.
I enjoyed this sweet story very much. It was an easy quick read. I liked to characters, a smart woman, one who needs more experience in love. Her analytical mind is a joy to read, and interesting when she figures love out!
The book was interesting. I was at first lost because it wasn't explained to me why the main character was heading to her destination. After I understood what was going on I was able to enjoy the story. There were a few grammatical errors, but it could've been just my copy. I would recommend it for a nice read.
I was surprised with Jade's story that it's that far in the future that Oliver ends up as the son of a previous character from another story that was just as loved as Jade's story. Jade is a love at first sight kind of story with a little bit drama.

Just finished Jade and I really enjoyed it, I loved the way that Jade was written as not being very socially adept and at the start that really became through in the way she was thinking and then as she grew so did her thoughts and the writing showed this. I know myself how I say the wrong thing at the wrong time and my thoughts and it was done perfectly here. Oliver was described and characterised well and I just loved his open heart for Chanlina and Sikrit that he would do the right thing even if it cost him. I loved the side characters especially Chanlina and Nathaniel and felt that I really knew them as I did with Jade and Oliver.
When I first got into this book I was not sure what this book would be all about. I didn't know if it would be more about sciences, romance, or what to make of it. As I got into it I realized it is about all of it. In this book we meet Jade and Oliver, Oliver is a man who can deal with the tough stuff but still has a heart of gold. Jade is a woman who has grown up in a world that she feels more like a misfit then a person who belongs in it. When Jade agrees to join her best friend Agatha in Thai land as her research assistant until she can determine what she wants her next step in life to be she never thought she would meet a man that could really make her feel. Oliver knows there is something special about Jade he just needs to make sure he is taking his time showing her so that she won't run from him if he ever gets his chance with her. This book is an amazing look at life in other cultures and how being in another place can chance our whole out look not just on life but of how we contribute to it as well. I would recommend this book to anyone and everyone
OH how I loved this story. It's pure, honest, realistic and true. The characters are memorable and have wonderful personalities. The storyline is a sweet young adult story of a young woman who is a virgin and finds attraction for the first time in her life. The H/h's romance is a little complicated because it begins in a foreign country and they reunite in the states by accident. I wish the story had an epilogue. I did not want the story to end. It was just the beginning for this couple and it would have been great to find out what would happen next. A great story and I highly recommend it.
